Early Childhood

The Blended Early Childhood Education is designed to further prepare Early Childhood Education professionals holding an Associate of Arts (A.A), Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) in the field of Early Childhood Education. After completing an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from a regionally accredited school, the ISU bachelor’s program provides candidates a pathway to teacher certification focused on children with and without disabilities, and their families from birth to third grade. Candidates complete intensive coursework in elementary and special education to include field experiences and practicums. They conclude the degree program by perfecting their practice in a full semester of student teaching.

Specific coursework listings can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog. This program is offered in Pocatello and Twin Falls.
