Graduate Programs

The Department of Sport Science and Physical Education offers the following graduate programs:

Master of Science in Athletic Training
Master of Physical Education - Athletic Administration

Graduate Assistantship

Graduate Assistantship Positions

Graduate assistant positions are available each year based on funding.

Responsibilities may include activity course instruction, research with faculty, and/or assisting faculty with lab sections. These responsibilities generally require 20 hours per week.


Applications will be due late in February, the Spring Semester prior to beginning assistantship.

Applications must include the following: (a) a completed application for a graduate teaching assistantship, (b) official copies of all transcripts, (c) official GRE or MAT scores, and (d) three letters of recommendation.
