Tom Briggs, Graduate Assistant, Educational Foundations
Tom
Briggs is originally from the East, but has been in southeastern Idaho for
the past four years. Last year, he worked as an advisor in the College of
Education advising office. This year he will begin teaching at ISU. Tom
has had many years of teaching experience. Tom began his career as a
computer trainer, first with Digital Equipment Corporation, then with his
own company for over a decade. Tom then made a major shift in his
educational focus, by beginning first as a middle school English teacher,
then as a high school social studies teacher in the Washington, DC public
schools for over five years.
