The Department of Organizational Learning and Performance offers three graduate degrees (Master of Science in Human Resource Development, Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Instructional Technology, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Instructional Design) and an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Workplace Training and Leadership) that focus on organizational performance as it relates to training, learning and development, leadership, and performance improvement.
Program participants range from traditional undergraduate students to seasoned managers and supervisors. The two degrees are aimed to prepare students to be knowledgeable and highly effective in a variety of organizations in both the for-profit and not-for-profit environments, including education and public service/government.
The Department of Organizational Learning and Performance also offers credentialing for the state of Idaho Career and Technical Education (CTE). Many CTE professionals or aspiring CTE instructors elect to apply the suite of the four required CTE courses towards the Master of Science in Human Resource Development degree or the Bachelors of Science in Workplace Training and Leadership degree.

Many students have chosen a degree from the Department of Organizational Learning and Performance because of its flexible course scheduling (most courses are offered every Fall and Spring semester with the majority of them being available online) and its added value approach to all types of organizations. Many of our graduates enter positions such as internal consultants, instructional designers, training managers, and performance engineers in organizations around the world.
