Classfication and Call Number

Because of the special nature of the collections, in particular, the textbook collection, the IMC uses Dewey Decimal numbers, publishers, grade levels, publication year, and reading levels are also used for the system of call numbers. The following diagram is a typical example of call numbers used for textbook collection. We hope the diagram will help you understand IMC call numbers, but please feel free to ask for help in finding materials.
