Welcome to the Special Education Program (SPED)
The special education program at Idaho State Univesrity offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. The Bachelor's degree in special education prepares students for professional certification as a K-12 generalist in special education. This program also prepares individuals pursuing non-teaching degrees in Human Exceptionality. The Master's degree in Human Exceptionality is designed to strengthen the student's understanding and knowledge in three areas: Professional Studies, Speciality Studies, and Integrative Field Research Studies - as they pertain to Human Exceptionality.
