Welcome to the ISU School Psychology Web Page (SCPY)
The mission of the Idaho State University Ed.S School Psychology Program is to support the educational, psychological, mental health, and social-emotional development of all students through the rigorous and systematic application of scientifically-based interventions and strategies. The context of training and practices of the School Psychology Program reflects a diverse and culturally sensitive approach that addresses child needs and promotes success for all learners.
In pursuit of this mission, we hold our faculty and students to the highest professional standards and direct our collective energies and resources to the fulfillment of standards that exemplify the training and practice of professional school psychology.
The ISU program is dedicated to promoting active problem-solving methodologies and evaluating effective interventions designed to further success and competence in the children and schools we serve. Our program seeks to attract students who will contribute to the program and university in furthering our mission. Students who possess a strong commitment to helping children, families, schools, and communities are welcomed. If you wish to make a positive difference in the success of a child, call or e-mail us for more information.
