Following prototyping, a design team has completed the development of a multimedia product that covers the Oregon Trail in Idaho. It is designed to be used in a learning centers-environment, covering 2 weeks at an hour a day. The audience for this product is the 4th grade in Idaho schools. A local school district has been selected for the first full implementation of the product due to a Superintendent/School Board mandate that multimedia be incorporated into "Idaho History" by the end of the school year. In a survey of this school district, it was found that only 10% of the teachers (n = 30) have used centers. Also, it has been noted that the teachers are generally resistant to new computer technology in their classrooms. Multimedia-capable computers are already in place in each classroom in question (4-5 in each classroom).

Develop an abbreviated plan that you feel will insure the successful integration of the Oregon Trail product into the Idaho History curriculum. Your plan should include (but not be limited to): Instructor training, Learner training, and teaching tools.
