| 282-4108 | Dr. Lyons is the Chair of the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education. As a generalist, Dr. Lyons teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in a variety of areas. He holds degrees in Recreation, Physical Education, and Health Sciences. His research interests and special projects include nutrition and health/wellness topics, development of teaching/coaching models in adapted physical activity, coaching and training techniques, and fitness and wellness studies. Dr. Lyons presents on Health and Educational topics, and publishes in field journals on a regular basis. Dr. Lyons has received a variety of awards for teaching and service over the course of his career. Most recently, he was presented with the 2009 Disability Awareness and Distinguished Service Award by the Idaho State University ADA and Disabilities Resource Center.

Dr. Appleby is an Assistant Professor in the Sport Science and Physical Education Department. Her academic training is in Sport Psychology, Sport Management, and Cultural Studies. Dr. Appleby teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Research and Writing, Sport Psychology, Management of Athletics, and Sport Sociology. Her research interests include gender issues in sport, injury in sport, and the master's athlete population. She currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing for the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport (NAGWS) and as the co-Head of the Diversity Committee for the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). Dr. Appleby has published in journals and books such as Teaching of Psychology, Women Sport and Physical Journal, Eye on Psi Chi, and the Encyclopedia of Extreme Sports.

Dr. Faure teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in sports medicine, sports law and sports marketing. Her research interests and special projects include concussion recognition and management in athletes, risk management in athletics, and sports broadcasting.

| 282-3912 | Mr. Watters is an adjunct professor with the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education and oversees the Outdoor Education Minor. He teaches outdoor literature, leadership, methods of teaching outdoor activities, avalanche safety and other outdoor-related courses. Active in writing and publishing in the outdoor education field, he is the author of seven books and is chair of the National Outdoor Book Awards housed at Idaho State University. | ||

| 282- | Dr. Gauthier is an Assistant Professor in the Sport Science and Physical Education Department on the Boise Campus. His academic training is in Finance, Sports Marketing, Development, and Sport Management. His experience includes coaching men's basketball at the NCAA Division I and Division III levels, and he was an athletic director at the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Director's of Athletics (NACDA) and the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC). |
