SSPE Graduate Assistantship Positions for 2010-2011

The Department of Sport Science and Physical Education at Idaho State University is seeking applicants for graduate assistants for the 2010-2011 academic year. Responsibilities may include activity course instruction, research with faculty, and/or assisting faculty with lab sections.

The Master of Physical Education in Athletic Administration is designed to strengthen the student’s understanding, knowledge, and skills in the areas of leadership and administration as they relate to the management of athletic programs at the interscholastic and intercollegiate levels. Compensation includes an estimated $9,401.20 (August 14, 2009 - May 12, 2010) stipend, tuition and fee waiver of resident and non-resident tuition, and student health insurance.

Applications must include the following: (a) a completed application for a graduate teaching assistantship, (b) official copies of all transcripts, (c) official GRE or MAT scores, and (d) three letters of recommendation.
